TEMPERATURES across Essex are beginning to drop again with weather warnings being issued across parts of the country.
Southend and Basildon have already had some small showers of snow during the winter period so far.
But is there set to be any more snow anytime soon?
The Met Office has today issued a yellow weather warning for snow from 3am on Thursday to 3am on Friday across parts of Birmingham, to Manchester, and up to Newcastle.
No weather warnings have been issued thus far across Essex.
The Met Office is currently predicting heavy rain across south Essex on Thursday and into Friday, so it is looking unlikely there will be snow this week.
However, weather forecaster WX Charts, is predicting some snow could hit parts of the county Friday night into Saturday.
The Met Office adds: “Cold air already established across the northern UK is likely to extend to all parts through next weekend.”
