A ROAD in Rayleigh has been closed both ways due to “emergency electrical works”.
Rayleigh Town Council say Websters Way is currently closed in both directions.
They say this is due to emergency works, and therefore there was no advanced warning of this closure.
Websters Way car park can still be accessed when approaching from Bull Lane / Holy Trinity direction.
Rayleigh Town Council add: “Websters Way is currently closed due to emergency electrical work.
“Currently traffic cannot dive down Websters Way from Eastwood Road to Hockley Road in either direction.
“This work is an emergency, and the Town Council had no advance warning of this closure.”
